Target Green will make an immediate impact on indoor air quality in your facility, decreasing employee health problems and medical claims and increasing comfort, morale and productivity. A recent study by Judith Heerwagen, PhD, which assessed the affects of indoor environment on worker productivity, found that productivity increases between 0.5% to 7% (translating into approx. 3 to 34 minutes saved per day) Green cleaning plays a key role in the process, as it removes the contaminants that can affect people’s health. Based on figures from BOMA the estimated cost of salaries and benefits per square foot in a Class A office building is nearly $300. Thus, an increase in productivity of just 0.5% translates into $1.5 per square foot.
